Absolutely. What really gets to me is when people say Israel had no other option after 7th October but to respond in the way they have. It's insane. I don't know how any reasonable person can come to such a conclusion. As for Murray, I think I refer to him as an Israeli asset in the article (which is a bit of a tangent tbh, but such is my hatred for the man) which I have no actual evidence to back that up. But what other possibility is there? The guy has exclusive access to the "war" (genocide), going on guided IDF tours that he refers to as 1st hand accounts of events, and receiving ceremonial honours from the Israeli President. I am right in thinking that no journalists are allowed in Gaza, right? All except Murray. Backed up by a Trump endorsement now as well haha!

What a terrible person. I hate-read his The Madness of Crowds a few years ago. Thoroughly unimpressed. Thought he was just an idiot. Didn’t realize he’s a straight up fascist.
I haven't been able to read any of his books yet, though I suppose I should to do a more thorough take on him. Nevertheless, he is a repulsive individual. He denies being a fascist, of course, but honestly he screams 1920s style upper class posh British aristocrat in love with Mussolini. In the 2020s they've swapped antisemitism for Islamophobia and Mussolini for Trump.
Douglas Murray seems to me to be some sort of museum-grade artifact of reactionary theatre. I can't stand his cultivated, velvety William F Buckley-lite accent that sounds like someone swallowed a thesaurus during a country estate orgy and never recovered. It’s all about the leather armchairs, the pseudo-classical references, and monologues about “Western decline” delivered in the tone of a man who thinks quoting Auden counts as foreplay. what a colossal, maybe even galactic twat...
